The world’s largest food and beverage fair, Anuga, took place a few days ago at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Centre in Cologne.
Greece occupied a total space of 5000m ², with 220 Greek companies from all over Greece, mainly with group pavilions under the slogan "Taste like Greece" by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Organization and "Greece is delicious" by Promo Solution.
The companies had an important opportunity to expose the richness of Greek products and highlight their quality and nutritional value: Olive oil, olives, wine, honey, dairy products, bread and bakery goods, frozen fish and many more. Additionally, there was a tasting area, where a group of Greek chefs cooked and presented several dishes of four different regions of the country, using products from the Greek exhibitors.
The large number of visitors shows that the extraversion and effort of Greek companies to promote the advantages of their goods has clearly improved the awareness of Greek products and the effort of recent years to restore the credibility of Greek enterprises has begun to bear fruit.
